We're going beyond the ordinary: 10 unique, handmade, plastic-free caps are the result of our collaboration with AKLA. All are designed for circularity and crafted in Zürich.
An idea that's been on our minds for a while, is finally ready to share. Designed in collaboration with Andràs Markus – the face behind Zürich-based cap studio AKLA – these limited edition pieces bring together years of material development and a shared dedication to thoughtful design. Crafted from our plant-based Bananatex® fabric, biodegradable Tencel® thread, and wool felt, each cap is handmade in Zürich with circularity in mind.

BUILT DIFFERENT
Each cap is handmade at the AKLA studio in Zurich. The 5-panel caps are lightweight, breathable and designed for circularity: at the end of their product-life they can naturally decompose. Made of banana fiber, merino wool felt for structure, Tencel® thread, vegetable tanned natural leather and an aluminum adjuster buckle, which can be detached and recycled after use. A perfect blend of functionality and sustainability for all your adventures.

What began with a prototype during the quieter days of the pandemic has grown into our first edition of fully plastic-free caps.

Andràs, the man behind AKLA, has a background in eyewear design. His precise mindset is what he transfers to unique handmade caps that he usually makes from technical dead stock materials.
