Designed in collaboration with Andràs Markus – the face behind Zürich-based cap studio AKLA – these limited edition pieces bring together years of material development and a shared dedication to thoughtful design.

QUESTIONING NORMS
Each cap is handmade at the AKLA studio in Zurich. The 6-panel caps are lightweight and designed for circularity: at the end of their product-life they can naturally decompose. Crafted from our plant-based Bananatex® and organic cotton fabrics, biodegradable Tencel® thread and and an aluminum adjuster buckle, each cap is crafted with circularity at its core.

What began with a prototype during the quieter days of the pandemic has grown into our second edition of fully plastic-free caps – a perfect blend of functionality and sustainability for all your adventures.

Andràs, the man behind AKLA, has a background in eyewear design. His precise mindset is what he transfers to unique handmade caps that he crafts from dead stock materials.
