How we know Ludvig

When Ludvig, a 15-year-old artist, reached out to us, we were immediately drawn to his way of seeing the world. His hyperrealistic art invites us to pause and see the world with fresh eyes. Through his attention to detail, he reminds us of the stories hidden in the everyday.

Work in Progress, Ludvig drawing the QWSTION + Monocle / Bananatex Holdall.

What led you to what you do today?

I’ve always been obsessed with visuals – drawing from life, turning everyday objects into art. It started in school notebooks and grew into what I do now.

This piece of drawing took 40 hours to complete.

What do you care about in life?

I care about creating things that feel intentional. That tell stories. Whether it’s a drawing or a product, I want it to make someone stop and look.

How do you address this with your work?

By focusing on small details and objects that get overlooked. I draw them hyper realistically to give them presence and meaning.

The stitching and the fabric's appearance required the most time.

What do you look for in the things you buy?

Simplicity, function, and a clear design point of view. If I can’t tell what the product’s trying to say, I’m not interested.

This Starbuck Matcha was one of the faster drawings, completed in 25 hours.

Ludvig spent 35 hours drawing the gum.
This is the masterpiece so far. Ludvig invested 70 hours to finish this drawing.
