When we first met Max used to run the best specialty Coffee in Vienna called Zamm. His very creative mind and soon our close friendship let us to exhibit our newly released black leather Edition pictures in his Café back in 2014. Max shares same values and passion for his work as QWSTION does.
At the moment he is about to open Supplies Supplies in Vienna , a unique sportswear boutique with 2 friends specialising on independent brands, nutrition and magazines.
What led you to what you do today?
Many intersections and lucky decisions, drive and perseverance and a good support system led to where I find myself today.
What do you care about in life?
Since I became a father 5 years ago, many perspectives on life have changed, although a lot still remained: next to family life, I strive to move my body everyday, mostly outdoors in various shapes and forms. A strong connection to nature and wild places is something dear to my heart.
I appreciate that I can use the Daypack on a daily basis, it fits everything I need and more and can also be used for weekend trips.
How do you address this in your work?
I am lucky to photograph sports and lifestyle campaigns mostly on location in amazing places and I couldn’t be more grateful doing what I do for a living.
What do you look for in things you buy?
This can be various components from style to functionality, to timeliness. It has to feel great and satisfy a certain need or function.
